(chieftoy) 기존에 다양한 영어단어 학습앱을 구매해보았습니다. 대부분의 경우에는 단어의 갯수에만 집중하고 실제 학습은 사용자의 자율적인 사용에 맡기는 경우가 많더군요. 영국문화원 단어장은 식스미팅이라는 체계적인 시스템을 이용해서, 중간에 쉽게 학습을 포기하지 않게 도와주더군요. 특히, 대부분의 단어앱이 출처가 불문명한 컨텐트를 가지고 만들어진 반면, 이 앱은 영국문화원이라는 믿을 수 있는 컨텐트 제공자로부터 선정된 영어 단어와 예문이 있어서, 훨씬 정확하고 실제 생활에서 이용할 수 있다는 느낌이 듭니다. 특히, 통계부분과 단어게임도 랭킹을 제공하기 때문에, 중간중간 다른 사람들과의 경쟁심을 통해서, 단어학습을 지속할 수 있도록 도와주네요. 아쉬운 점이 있다면, 게임센터와의 연동이 있다면, 단순히 제작사에서 제공하는 랭킹이 아닌, 다른 아이폰 게임들 처럼 나의 직접적인 친구들과 일반적인 게임처럼 서로 경쟁할 수 있을 것 같습니다. 아마 다음 버전에서 업그레이드 해주시겠지요? I have purchased various english vocabulary study apps so far. but in many cases, they focus only on the number of words not on the process of studying for their users. In this case, the user can easily quit the app without spending enough time to study words that they are supposed to memorize. However, this BC Words helps me not to give up in the middle of studying by providing its propriety studying system called 6 meetings. Specifically, BC Words uses very credential content from the British Council compared to other vocab apps with vocabulary and sample sentences that are not trustworthy. I feel like this characteristic enables me to study more practical and precise expressions and words in reality, which is one of the various strenths of the app. Moreover, the statistics and ranking system stimulate my competitive feelings so dramatically that I can hardly quit the app and be focused on studying for a long time. What I hope for this app is that if the app supports the iphones official gamecenter, it would be much easier for me to see how competitive I am compared with my close friends on the gamecenter. I hope youll add this function to the next update.
Its pretty nice app for those who study english as a second language.
